STORY
Arango’s terroir sits very close to Totumas.
Forgive me for calling something a career best every time — but of everything I have brought in around the 100,000-won mark, I would put this first. Even the Caturra is close to 90 points.
There is one reason the price is reasonable for a Panama coffee right now: we joined with buyers from other countries, took the entire year’s production, and negotiated hard.
In the Geisha, mango comes forward. Scored generously it reaches 93 points.
And the notes themselves are approachable, easy to like. Mango and jasmine, of all things…
The Caturra carries florality alongside clean fruit, and you will understand immediately why Panamanian varietals are having their moment.
There is a clear reason farms like this keep surfacing this year: we have been unearthing coffees that were previously sold under other names, or never reached Korea at all. Arango in particular has terroir close to Totumas — which may be why it is so remarkable. Though of course, I may simply love the coffee from that corner of the world.
Find this level at another farm and the varietal would cost you over 100,000 won, the Geisha over 300,000. Caturra at 90 points, Geisha at 93. I am certain this is the coffee you would most regret missing this year.

- Coffee is a food product. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, unopened, with the original packaging and seal intact.
- If the item is defective, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, we cover shipping both ways. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo.
- For a change of mind, return shipping is KRW 3,000 within Korea and KRW 30,000 for international orders. Exchange shipping is KRW 6,000 within Korea and KRW 60,000 for international orders.

- The packaging has been opened or the seal has been broken.
